Spring 2014 Course Add/Drop & Other Semester Guidelines

1. Course Add/Drop Period: Tue. Feb. 18 10:00 am - Sat. Mar. 8

- Add or drop your courses at the New Online Service: [Course Registration] > [Course Add/drop]


Note:

? Course Schedule for Spring 2014 is available at the New Online Service on the [Notice] board as attachments.

? Add/Drop for Spring 2014 modular courses which have already started are not available.

? Classes with less than 5 students as of Mon. Mar. 3 may be cancelled.

2. Tuition & Course Registration

l Full-time students can add/drop courses once they have paid their tuition. Tuition bill is now available at the New Online Service [Registration] > [Print Tuition Bill]. *Students who have difficulties with paying the tuition should still drop by the Academic/Admissions Office within the course add/drop period in order to add/drop courses.

l Expat students should first register for the courses and pay their tuition afterwards (Mar. 11-20). Expat students pay by credit.

3. Selecting Tracks

Following students are to select their tracks before they add/drop classes. [Records] > [Selecting Track] a Desired Track

- EMDiv 3rd semester students

- EMA in CC new students

4. Class Substitution & PhD Individual Guided Research (GR) Application Period: Tue. Feb. 18 ? Thu. Feb. 27

If you need to apply for class substitution due to curriculum change or other reasons, or if you need to apply for individual Guided Researches (for PhD Participants) please fill out the application form at the Academic/Admissions Office and get the approval from the Department Chair or the Program Director.

5. Other Important Information

l MDiv Students - Spiritual Formation Class

Spiritual Formation classes are required throughout the years of study. Since you need to take the spiritual formation classes total 6 times, please make sure you do not miss any each semester. (For track B, total 4 times; 1st ? 4th semester).

? Spring: PT5070 (1st sem.), PT6070 (3rd sem.), PT7070 (5th sem. For track A&C)

? Fall: PT5080 (2nd sem.), PT6080 (4th sem.), PT7090 (6th sem. For track A&C)

l MA/MTS/MEd/ThM Students - Field Education (F/E)

These students are required to fulfill a certain number of field education experiences during your studies. Please make sure you register for the Field Education I-III (GI1010-1030) during the course add/drop period if you are planning to fulfill the field education (F/E) in Spring 2014. You will be able to pass this requirement when submitting the F/E report at the end of the semester.

*EXPAT students are also required to fulfill Field Education requirements.
