The Master of Education (MEd) is a 2-year program that is primarily designed for primary and secondary school teachers who desire to integrate a Christian worldview into their work at Christian schools. The program emphasizes Christian worldview formation and application. MEd candidates may apply for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Professional Teacher Certificate without further courses being required.
Language & Course Schedule

English Only : Tuesday and Thursday Evening: 7:00 pm - 10 pm, Saturday: 9:20 am - 4 pm

Graduation Requirement

Satisfactorily pass 36 credit hours of coursework and obtain a minimum GPA of 2.5
Satisfactorily pass the comprehensive exam (normally taken during the 2nd year)
Complete 4 semesters of Chapel requirement
Complete 2 semesters of both Field Education & Practical Field Education
Complete the program within 4 consecutive years

Academic Information

Academic Load : Average 9-11 credits per semester
Thesis (4 credits) or Educational Ministry Project (3 credits) is required
Students must fulfill their 2-semester Field Education (FE) requirement at a local church or Christian organization while they are enrolled at Torch Trinity
Students must fulfill their 2-semester Practical Field Education requirement at a Christian school
Students who are also full-time teachers may fulfill their chapel requirement in an alternative way under the supervision of their advisor
