2015 Fall Course Registration Guidelines

2015 Fall Course Registration Period: Mon. Jun. 1, 8:30am - Fri. Jun. 5

1. First day of class for 2015 Fall Semester: Sat. Aug. 22
- 2015 Fall semester starts on Saturday and ends on Saturday.

- The first day of class for the English PhD Program is the first day of the modular class.

2. Course schedule & Syllabus
- Course schedule is available at the New Online Service. If further updates are made, it will be made at the New Online Service announcement board.
- Syllabi which are not yet uploaded will mostly be ready by the end of June.

3. Guidelines by Programs

1) EMDiv & EMA (CC) - Selecting Tracks & Changing Tracks

* Selecting tracks at the New Online Service: [Records] > [Selecting Track] > Desired Track

2) MDiv/MTS

• MDiv/MTS students may take other programs' (MA, MEd, ThM, MWCM) courses as electives except for some courses which are blocked.
  

• For 2015 Fall semester, English 2 or 3 credit modular elective course will not be offered for English MDiv/MTS students. Thus if a student needs to take an elective, please plan with this knowledge.
  

3) MDiv

• Spiritual Formation Classes
  Spiritual Formation classes are required throughout the years of study. Please make sure you do not miss any.
  Spring: PT5070 (1st sem.), PT6070 (3rd sem.), PT7070 (5th sem. Only for track A, C, D)
  Fall: PT5080 (2nd sem.), PT6080 (4th sem.), PT7090 (6th sem. Only for track A, C, D)
  

• Registering for Courses which have Pre-requisites
  If you are taking a pre-requisite class this semester, you can register for the next level course after the grades are out during the course add/drop period (Aug. 18 - Sep. 4).
  

• For EMDiv E-Track Students: ED6513 & ED6524 are required for obtaining the ACSI Teacher's certificate, but they are no longer EMDiv E-Track requirements. E-Track Students may graduate without ED6513 & ED6524 as long as they fulfill total 95 credits including other requirements. Students will be given opportunities to take ED6513 & ED6524 after graduation if they wish to pursue the ACSI Teacher's certificate.

4) MA/MTS/MEd/MWCM/ThM - Field Education (F/E)

MA/MTS/MEd/ThM students are required to fulfill total 3 times (2 times for MEd) of field education experiences during their studies. Make sure you register for the Field Education I-III (GI1010-1030) if you are planning to fulfill the field education (F/E) in 2015 Fall. Students who have registered will be able to pass this requirement when submitting the F/E report at the end of the semester.

*EXPAT students are also required to fulfill Field Education requirements.

5) For ACSI Teacher's certificate Pursuing Students

MDiv E-Track, MA, ThM CE Students who are pursuing ACSI Teacher's certificate should take additional MEd courses according to the requirements.

4. Course Add/Drop Period: Tue. Aug. 18, 9:30am - Fri. Sep. 4 (2015)

- Class Substitution (due to curriculum change or other reasons) & PhD Individual Guided Research (GR) Application can be made during this period

- MDiv courses for which you have not yet fulfilled the pre-requisites should be added during this period (after the grades are out)

2015학년도 가을학기 수강신청 안내

2015학년도 가을학기 수강신청기간: 6/1(월) 8:30am - 6/5(금)

1. 2015학년도 가을학기 개강일: 2015/08/22 (토)

- 2015 가을학기는 토요일에 시작하여 토요일에 마칩니다.

- 영어 철학박사과정의 학기개시일은 모줄라 수업 개강일로 합니다.

2. 강의시간표 및 강의계획서

- New Online Service 에서 확인이 가능하며, 추가적인 업데이트 발생 시 New Online Service 의 게시판에서 이루어질 예정입니다.

- 아직 업로드되지 않은 강의계획서는 6월 말경까지 업로드될 예정입니다.

3. 과정별 안내사항

1) EMDiv/EMACC - 트랙 선택 및 변경

* New Online Service: [학적업무] > [트랙선택] > 희망트랙 선택

2) MDiv/MTS 과정

• MDiv/MTS 학생들은 다른 과정 (MA, MEd, ThM, MWCM) 개설 수업들을 선택과목으로 수강할 수 있습니다. 단, 일부 타과정수강불가 과목은 제외됨.
  

• 2015학년도 가을학기에는 영어 MDiv/MTS 과정 학생들을 위한 2 또는 3학점 영어 모줄라과목이 개설되지 않을 예정이니, 선택과목을 수강해야 하는 경우 이 점을 유의하여 계획하여주시기 바랍니다.

3) MDiv 과정

영성형성 수업
영성형성 수업들은 재학기간 중에 그 순서를 따라 필수로 이수해야 합니다. 매학기 이수해야 할 영성형성 수업을 놓치지 않도록 주의하여주시기 바랍니다. (단, 영어과정의 트랙 B와 E는 1학기~4학기, 총 4회 수강)

- 봄학기: PT5070 (1학기), PT6070 (3학기), PT7070 (5학기 ? 영어과정의 트랙 A, C, D에 한함)

- 가을학기: PT5080 (2학기), PT6080 (4학기), PT7090 (6학기 ? 영어과정의 트랙 A, C, D에 한함)?

• 선수과목이 있는 수업의 수강신청
  이번 학기에 선수과목을 수강하고 있는 경우, 다음 단계의 수업은 선수과목의 성적이 확정된 이후 2015학년도 가을학기 수강정정기간(8/18-9/4)에 수강신청 하실 수 있습니다.

위 과정의 학생들은 재학기간 중에 3회 (MEd는 2회)의 현장실습을 이수해야 합니다. 2015학년도 가을학기에 현장실습을 이수하려는 경우 반드시 현장실습 I-III (GI1010-1030)을 수강신청하여 주시기 바랍니다. 수강신청을 한 경우에 한하여, 학기 말에 현장실습보고서 제출 시 성적을 받으실 수 있습니다. * EXPAT 학생들도 현장실습을 이수해야 합니다.

5) ACSI 교사자격증 취득을 목표로 하는 영어과정 학생들을 위한 유의사항

4. 2015학년도 가을학기 수강정정기간: 2015/08/18(화), 9:30am - 2015/09/04(금)
- 대체과목 신청(커리큘럼 변경 등의 이유) 및 박사과정 Individual Guided Research (GR) 신청은 위 기간 내에 가능합니다.
- 선수과목 이수가 완료되지 않은 MDiv 과목의 수강신청은 위 기간 내에 가능합니다.
