Fall 2017 Course Registration Period:
June 1(Th), 9am - June 16(F), 5pm
1. General Guidelines
1) Course schedule : New Online Service > Notice Board (Excel file)
* Students should follow the suggested schedule on the Guide to ‘Degree Programs and Curricula’ booklet, according to the year/semester. Course schedules may conflict with other required courses in case a student delays taking a required course and this may delay graduation.
* Fall 2017 (Winter) Modular Course Registration: Oct. 30(M), 9am - Nov. 3(F), 5:30pm
2) Course Syllabi : New Online Service > Courses > Search for Offered Courses (Search for 2017, Fall)
Those which are not uploaded yet will mostly be available by early June. Winter modular course syllabi will be available before the modular course registration period.
- First day of class for Fall 2017: Aug. 21(M), 2017
2. Guidelines by Programs
1) EMDiv & EMA (CC)
- Select tracks during the course registration period.

Changes are available at the New Online Service during the course registration period or course add/drop period. ** Changing tracks after the 3rd semester may delay graduation. |
Changing tracks are available during the registration period if you have taken Practicum I and have not yet taken Practicum II (normally near the end of the 2nd semester) at the Academic Office. * Students returning from stop-out may change tracks during the course add/drop period at the Academic Office. |
2) MDiv/MTS
MDiv/MTS students may take other programs' (MA, MEd, ThM, MWCM) courses as electives
except for some courses which are blocked.
3) MDiv
- Spiritual Formation Classes
MDiv students are to take Spiritual Formation classes in sequence for total 6 semesters, every semester. Please be careful not to miss any of these 1 or 0 credit courses during the course registration & add/drop period. *For track B & E, required only up to the 4th semester
- Registering for Courses which have Pre-requisites : you can register for the next level course after the grades are out during the course add/drop period (Aug. 16 - Aug. 29).

- For EMDiv E-Track Students:
- ED6513 & ED6524 are required for obtaining the ACSI Teacher's certificate, but they are no longer EMDiv E-Track requirements. E-Track Students may graduate without ED6513 & ED6524 as long as they fulfill total 95 credits including other requirements. Students will be given opportunities to take ED6513 & ED6524 after graduation if they wish to pursue the ACSI Teacher's certificate.

4) Field Education (F/E): MACE/MTS/MEd/MWCM and MACC/ThM (2016 or former curriculum)
Above program students are required to fulfill total 3 times (2 times for MEd) of field education experiences during their studies. Make sure you register for the Field Education I-III (GI1010-1030) if you are planning to fulfill the field education (F/E) in Fall 2017. Students who have registered will be able to pass this requirement when submitting the F/E report to the Academic/Admissions Office by the Friday of the week before the end of the semester: Dec. 1 (Fri).
*EXPAT students are also required to fulfill Field Education requirements.
5) MA Christian Counseling Students: Practicum & Supervision Classes
Students are to register for Practicum and Supervision classes together. Registering for only one of the two will be permitted only in retaking cases.
6) PhD
- Dissertation writers who have currently registered for Dissertation I or II for this semester can register for Dissertation II for Fall 2017 during the course add/drop period (Aug. 16 - Aug. 29) in case they want to continue.
- English PhD participants who wish to apply for individual Guided Researches for courses which are not offered in Fall 2017, should fill out the application form and get the approval from the professor and submit to the Academic/Admissions Office either during the registration period.
7) For ACSI Teacher's certificate Pursuing Students
MDiv, MA CE, ThM CE Students who are pursuing ACSI Teacher's certificate should find out and take the required courses for earning the certificate (other than the graduation requirement).
3. Retake/ Course Substitution/ Cross Registration Guidelines
- English-program students may take up to 3 credits (up to 5 credits for EMDiv) of Korean-program electives throughout their studies.
- Korean-program students can take English-program courses without any limitation of credits.

1) 강의시간표는 New Online Service 의 Notice 란 (엑셀파일) 에서 확인이 가능합니다.
* ‘학위과정 및 커리큘럼 안내’ 책자에 제시된 표준 스케줄의 학년/학기에 맞게 수업을 이수해야 합니다. 필수과목 이수를 연기할 경우, 향후 다른 필수과목과 수업시간표가 중복될 수 있으며, 졸업이 연기될 수 있습니다.
* 2017학년도 가을학기(겨울방학) 모줄라수업 수강신청기간: 10/30(월), 9am - 11/3(금), 5:30pm
2) 강의계획서는 New Online Service > 수업업무 > 개설강좌조회메뉴 (2017, Fall로 검색) 에서 확인 가능합니다. 아직 업로드되지 않은 강의계획서는 6월 초까지 업로드될 예정이며, 겨울 모줄라 과목의 강의계획서는 모쥴라 수강신청기간 전에 업로드 예정입니다.

2. 과정별 안내사항
1) EMDiv/EMACC
- 수강신청기간 내에 트랙을 선택하여주십시오.

2) MDiv/MTS 과정
MDiv/MTS 학생들은 다른 과정 (MA, MEd, ThM, MWCM) 개설 수업들을 선택과목으로 수강할 수 있습니다. 단, 일부 타과정수강불가 과목은 제외됨.
3) MDiv 과정
- 영성형성 수업
MDiv 과정 학생은 총 6학기동안 순서를 따라 영성형성 수업들을 매학기 필수로 이수해야 합니다. 1학점 또는 0학점으로 개설되는 영성형성 수업들을 수강신청 시에 놓치지 않도록 주의하여주시기 바랍니다. 단, 영어과정의 트랙 B와 E는 4학기까지만 이수함.
- 선수과목이 있는 수업의 수강신청: 수강정정기간(8/16-8/29)에 수강신청 가능

- 영어 MDiv E-Track 유의사항

4) 현장실습안내: MA CE/ MTS/ MEd/ MWCM 과 2017학년도 이전의 커리큘럼에 해당하는 MA CC, ThM
위 과정의 학생들은 재학기간 중에 3학기 (MEd는 2학기)의 현장실습을 이수해야 합니다. 2017학년도 가을학기에 현장실습을 이수하려는 경우 반드시 현장실습 I-III (GI1010-1030)을 수강신청하여 주시기 바랍니다. 수강신청을 한 학생들은 학기 중 현장실습을 한 후, 지도교수/사역기관의 확인을 받은 현장실습보고서를 종강 전 금요일 [12/1(금)] 까지 담당 교수님에게 (MA, MEd, MWCM은 학과장 /ThM, MTS는 석사주임교수) 제출할 경우, 현장실습을 이수하게 됩니다.
* EXPAT 학생들도 현장실습을 이수해야 합니다.
5) MA 기독교상담학과: 상담실습 및 상담수퍼비전 수업
상담실습 및 상담수퍼비전 수업은 반드시 동시에 수강신청해야합니다. 두 과목 중 한 과목만 신청하는 것은 재수강신청자에 한하여 가능합니다.
6) PhD
- 현재학기에 PhD 논문지도 I 또는II를 신청하였고 다음학기에 논문을 계속 진행하고자 하는 경우, 가을학기 수강정정기간 (8/16-8/29) 동안 논문지도 II 를 신청할 수 있습니다.
- EPhD 학생으로서 2017학년도 가을학기 개설과목 외의 Individual Guided Research 신청 희망 시에는 신청서를 작성하여 담당교수의 승인을 받은 후 수강신청기간까지 제출하여주십시오.
7) ACSI 교사자격증 취득 관련 유의사항
ACSI 전문교사자격증 취득을 목표로 하는 MDiv, MA(CE), ThM(CE)과정 학생들은 졸업요건 외에도 자격증 취득에 필요한 필수과목들을 확인하여 이수하시기 바랍니다.
3. 재수강/대체과목수강/교차수강 안내
- 한국어과정 학생이 영어과정 과목을 수강하는 경우: 필수과목/선택과목의 제한 없이 수강신청 가능함
- 영어과정 학생이 한국어과정 과목을 수강하는 경우: 재학기간 중 선택과목 3학점 (MDiv과정은 5학점)까지 수강신청 가능함

- 수강정정은 등록금 납부 후에 가능합니다 (단, Expat과정은 수강정정 후 등록금을 납부함).
