Oryun Community Church is a healthy and happy church, and Oryun English Ministry is an English-
speaking worship ministry within Oryun Community Church. We are dedicated to worshipping the
living God, and living gospel-centered lives as children of God and Holy Spirit empowered disciples of
Christ. We are looking for a pastor who can head and oversee the overall worship and ministry
services of Oryun English Ministry.
1. Basic Information
• Church Name: Oryun Community Church
• Denomination: The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Korea (Hapdong)
• Presbytery: Sookyung
• Church Location: Seoul, Gangdong-gu Gangdong-daero 235 (Near Olympic Park Station[Line 5 and
9] and Dunchon Station [Line 5])
• Senior Pastor: Eun Ho Kim
• Compensation: Will be discussed and finalized after the interview
• Start of job: Will be discussed and finalized after the interview (will most likely be near mid-
November)
2. Responsibilities
• Plan and lead regular programs for English Ministry including Sunday Service, Bible studies,
discipleship training, events etc.
• Care for and disciple congregants
• Work with the other ministries in the International Ministries to prepare and lead joint events
3. Qualifications
1) Have a heart for preaching the gospel and loving people
2) Be currently attending or have graduated from an evangelical seminary
3) Fluent in English
4) Have intermediate Korean language skills
5) Have one or more years of experience in young adults/adults ministry
