Dear New and Continuing Students of Torch Trinity,

May the Lord richly bless the year 2019 for your study and life! I would like to draw your close attention on the following announcement as we start a new semester. 

1. School Retreat Became Required for Graduation: This will be effective for all students (except Ph.D., Th.M., and M.Ed. students) after long discussions at various levels. Accordingly, there will be no class on the day of the retreat and the classes assigned on that day will be replaced by the retreat. If you miss the retreat for inevitable reason, you ought to fill out the form and follow the make-up process set by the Dean of Students. From this year on, school retreat will be held on Tuesday of the second week of every semester as one-day retreat. For this coming semester it will be March 12. Please arrange your ministry and work schedule in advance so that you can attend this important event. More detailed information on the retreat will be announced separately.

2. Tuition Increase about 1%: For several years there was no increase for tuition, however, this year less than 1% raise was decided by the Tuition Committee. The entire amount of the increased portion will be used for the welfare of students and facility.

3. Student Council Fee: We know that collecting Student Council (SC) fee had been a strenuous work for the SC members. Considering their difficulties and yet its great usage for students’ life in school, we made an arrangement that SC fee can be paid when you pay your tuition.

4. For M.Div. Students Who Came in 2017: You all worked hard last year due to curriculum revision in 2018. Thank you! After much consideration and discussion we have adjusted your graduation credits from 90 to 86. You can still register up to 18 credit hours per semester.
