Dear Students, Staff Members, and Faculty of TTGU,
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I trust you and your loved ones have had a meaningful winter season.
As we begin the Spring 2026 semester, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Student Council leaders who have devoted their time and effort in preparing for our upcoming school retreat. This year’s theme is “Go through the Gates,” based on Isaiah 62:10.
The English Program retreat will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. During the worship service, Prof. Hannah S. An will deliver the message.
The retreat program will include worship, prayer, recreational activities, and small group fellowship. We pray that this time will renew our spiritual vision and strengthen our unity as a community in Christ.
Please be reminded that participation in the retreat is mandatory for all MDiv, MTS, MA, and MWCM students, as it is a graduation requirement. To fulfill this requirement, you must attend at least 90% of the retreat in person.
If you are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances such as hospitalization caused by accident or illness, natural disasters, military reserve duty, family death, or residing abroad, you may submit an absence explanation along with supporting documents. In such cases, a substitute assignment will be provided after the retreat to fulfill the graduation requirement. Please note that work obligations, church ministry, residing in another region of Korea, or childcare will not be accepted as valid excuses.
While these administrative requirements are important, the heart of the retreat lies in gathering together as the TTGU community to hear the Word, worship, pray, and share fellowship. I encourage each of you to participate with a sincere and expectant heart.

횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교 학생, 교직원, 교수 여러분,
예수 그리스도의 이름으로 인사드립니다. 새 학기를 맞이하며 모두 주 안에서 평안하시기를 바랍니다.
횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교는 매 학기를 학교 수련회와 함께 시작합니다. 2026년도 봄학기 수련회는 이사야 62장 10절을 주제 본문으로 “성문으로 나아가라”라는 주제를 가지고 3월 12일 목요일에 열립니다.
한국어 과정 수련회는 오후 1시 30분부터 9시 30분까지 진행됩니다. 이번 수련회에서는 고대곤 교수님께서 말씀을 전해 주실 예정입니다. 수련회 프로그램은 예배, 기도회, 레크리에이션, 소그룹 활동 등으로 구성되며, 공동체가 함께 말씀을 듣고 교제하는 귀한 시간이 될 것입니다. 수련회를 위해 방학때부터 원우회 임원들이 정성껏 준비하고 있습니다.
매 학기 수련회 참가는 MDiv, MTS, MA, MWCM 전공 학생 모두에게 졸업 요건으로 규정되어 있습니다. 졸업 요건으로 인정받으려면 전체 시간의 90% 이상을 반드시 현장에서 참여해야 합니다. 수련회는 중요한 학교 공동체 행사이므로 온라인 참여는 허용되지 않습니다.
사고나 질병으로 인한 본인의 입원, 자연재해, 예비군 동원, 가족 사망, 해외 거주 등 예외적인 사유로 불참할 경우, 결석 사유서와 증빙 서류를 제출하시면 수련회 이후 안내될 대체 과제를 통해 졸업 요건을 충족하실 수 있습니다. 직장 근무, 지방 거주, 교회 사역, 육아 등의 사유는 예외로 인정되지 않음을 양해해 주시기 바랍니다.
무엇보다 이번 수련회가 우리 공동체가 함께 모여 말씀을 듣고, 찬양하며 기도하고, 서로를 격려하는 은혜의 시간이 되기를 바랍니다.
3월 12일 수련회에서 만나 뵙기를 기대합니다.
