횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교 - 성경번역선교회 MOU 체결
횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교(이하 TTGU)는 6월 18일(수) 성경번역선교회(이하 GBT)와 교류 및 상호 협력을 위한 선교협력 협약을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 양 기관의 깊은 이해와 유대관계를 강화하고 전 세계의 복음화 및 하나님 나라 확장을 위해 체결되었다. GBT는 국내외 선교프로그램의 정보들을 정기적으로 제공하며, 선교사역의 기회를 제공하고, GBT의 장단기 선교프로그램을 TTGU의 선교인턴십 또는 선교프랙티컴 과목으로 운영하여 글로벌 선교 인재양성을 위한 전략적 선교 동반자로 서로 협력하기로 했다.
TTGU의 오덕교 총장은 “앞으로 양 기관이 추구하는 선교 지향적인 부분이 서로 연결되어, 하나님의 나라를 이루기 위한 사역에서 동역해 나간다면 주님께 영광이 될 것”이라고 말하고, “GBT와의 MOU를 환영하고 우리가 더 큰 발전이 있기를 기대한다.”고 말했다. 이에 GBT의 김현 대표는 “이번 횃불트리니티와의 협약을 통해서 선교사 자원들이 많이 배출될 수 있는 기회가 되길 바라고, 기존에 사역하고 계시는 선교사님들도 TTGU에서 계속적인 배움과 신학적인 교육을 받을 수 있는 기회들이 많이 열렸으면 좋겠다”며 “TTGU와의 협력이 활발하게 일어나길 기대한다.”고 화답하였다.
협약식은 본교의 초청으로 본교 강의동 컨퍼런스룸에서 이루어졌다. 협약식에는 GBT 측의 김현 대표를 비롯하여 이대희 부대표, 최현섭 교회동역팀장, 김병관 신학교담당사역자가 참석했고, 본교 측은 오덕교 총장과 안한나 교학처장, 박형진 선교학과장, 김아영 교수가 참석하였다.
TTGU Signed MOU with Global Bible Translators
Torch Trinity Graduate University (TTGU) signed a mission partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Global Bible Translators (GBT) on Wednesday, June 18, to promote exchange and mutual cooperation in the field of missions.
This agreement was established to strengthen mutual understanding and deepen the partnership between the two institutions for the advancement of the gospel and the expansion of God’s Kingdom worldwide. Under this MOU, GBT will regularly provide information on its domestic and international mission programs, offer missionary field opportunities, and collaborate with TTGU by integrating GBT’s short- and long-term mission programs into TTGU’s Mission Internship and Mission Practicum courses. This partnership aims to nurture future global mission leaders through strategic cooperation.
President Dr. Deok Kyo Oh of TTGU remarked, “I believe that if the missional visions of our two institutions continue to align and move forward together for the glory of God, it will bring great blessings. We warmly welcome this MOU with GBT and look forward to further growth through this partnership.”
In response, Mr. Hyun Kim, President of GBT, shared, “I hope this MOU with Torch Trinity will serve as an opportunity for more missionary candidates to be raised up, and that existing missionaries will also benefit from further theological education and training at TTGU. We look forward to active collaboration with TTGU in the days ahead.”
The signing ceremony took place in TTGU’s Conference Room, with the following representatives in attendance: Mr. Hyun Kim, President of GBT; Mr. Dae-Hee Lee, Vice President; Mr. Hyun-Seop Choi, Director of Church Partnership; and Mr. Byung-Kwan Kim, Coordinator of Theological Education. Representing TTGU were Dr. Deok Kyo Oh, President; Dr. Hannah S. An, Dean of Academic Affairs; Dr. Hyung Jin Park, Chair of the Department of Mission; and Dr. Ah-Young Kim, Professor of Mission.
