Overview - Christian Counseling
The Master of Arts in Christian Counseling (MACC) is a 2-year professional program that focuses on counseling ministries. The program is designed to prepare graduates for professional ministry as counselors either locally or in mission settings.
 
Class Hour

English Program: Monday through Thursday, daytime classes
Korean Program: Monday through Thursday, daytime and evening classes (Theology classes for the Korean program can be offered in the evening)

 
Graduation Requirement

Pass 47 credits and obtain a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
Complete 4 semesters of Chapel requirement andn school retreat.
Pass the comprehensive exam.
Complete counseling hours.
Complete the program within a maximum 4 years.

 
Academic Information

Academic Load: Average 12 credits per semester (Up to 14 credits can be taken)
A practicum fee is charged for practicum courses (Clinical Observation, Practicum, Supervision).

Overview - Christian Education
The Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE) program is a 2-year program to equip professional Christian educators for various educational ministries in churches, Christian schools, para-church organizations, and/or mission fields. The program’s emphasis lies on students’ Christian worldview formation as well as their acquisition of educational and administrative knowledge and skills as Christian educators. This program is best fit for those who want to study both biblical/theological courses and educational courses. MACE candidates may earn the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) professional teacher/principal certificate by taking additional courses.

Pass 45 credits and obtain a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0
Complete 4 semesters of chapel requirement and school retreat.

Complete 2 semesters of field education.
Pass the comprehensive exam.
Complete the program within a maximum 4 years.

Academic Load: Average 12 credits per semester (Up to 14 credits can be taken)
Students must fulfill their 3-semester Field Education (FE) requirement at a local church or Christian organization while they are enrolled at Torch Trinity
